Food Truck Tuesday to Benefit Fun Coast Down Syndrome Association

Monday, October 14, 2024

Next week’s Food Truck Tuesday is the last one of 2024, so get ready for a night to remember filled with fun, and Food Trucks! This event will benefit the Fun Coast Down Syndrome Association (FCDSA). Their mission statement is to provide support, education, and resources to individuals with Down Syndrome, their families, and the community, to foster an environment where individuals with Down Syndrome are included and valued as contributing members of our society.

The FCDSA Founder/Executive Director, Paula Wilburn, notes that this is the 19th year they will be hosting their annual Buddy Walk, happening November 2nd from 11am to 4pm in Central Park. They have a $40,000 fundraising goal which allows them to continue providing support for individuals with Down Syndrome in Flagler, St. John’s, East Volusia, and Putnam County. Funds raised also support local programs and services, National Down Syndrome Society advocacy, and public awareness.

You can help the FCDSA reach its goal by making a donation or registering to walk in their Buddy Walk here: https://www.ds-stride.org/funcoastbuddywalk
