Southbound Lane Closure Scheduled on Belle Terre Parkway May 29 for Roadway Repairs

Wednesday, May 27, 2026

The City of Palm Coast will temporarily close the left southbound lane on Belle Terre Parkway just north of Belle Terre Elementary School at the intersection of Burroughs Drive on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The City of Palm Coast will temporarily close the left southbound lane on Belle Terre Parkway just north of Belle Terre Elementary School at the intersection of Burroughs Drive on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Crews will be on-site to repair a large dip in the roadway caused by underground stormwater pipes. The underground pipe repairs have already been completed, and this closure is necessary to restore the roadway surface and improve driving conditions in the area.

Traffic traveling southbound on Belle Terre Parkway will still be able to continue through the area using the right southbound lane. The southbound turn lane onto Burroughs Drive will remain open during the repairs.

Proper traffic control devices will be in place throughout the closure in accordance with FDOT lane closure guidelines. Safety measures will include an LED directional arrow board positioned near the start of the lane closure taper, lane closure warning signs, and traffic cones to help guide motorists safely through the work zone.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution, reduce speeds in the area, follow all posted signage, and remain alert for workers and changing traffic patterns.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to maintain and improve the city’s infrastructure.
