Summer Camps

Palm Coast Parks & Recreation proudly hosts a variety of summer camps for kids graduating Kindergarten through 8th Grade, including Fun in the Sun, Teen Adventure Camp, and a variety of specialty camps.

Be prepared this summer!

Parents, we want your kids to have the best summer ever! Please review all contents included on the page below for important information including camp policies and procedures, important documents and waivers, and frequently asked questions.

Don't Forget to Pack the Essentials!

Re-Usable Water Bottle

Water bottles are essential to keeping our campers cool and hydrated all summer long! Water fountains and refill stations are available in the Palm Coast Community Center.

Sunscreen

For children ages 5 and up, an SPF of 50 or higher is recommended. Please apply SPF before drop-off and pack it in your campers bag for re-application.

Camp T-Shirt

Camp T-Shirts are required for Wednesday Field Trips at Fun in the Sun and for each day of Teen Adventure Camp to help keep our group coordinated and together.

Swimwear

Please pack appropriate swimwear as well as a towel and change of clothes for campers who will be visiting the pool. Be sure to bring a waterproof or wet-safe bag to put clothes in.

Medications

For any campers that require prescription medications, a parent or guardian is required to fill out the Medication Release Form. Read more below.

Parent/Guardian Photo ID

A valid, government-issued Photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, etc.) is required daily for camp pick-up by the approved parent or guardian.




Fun in the Sun
Your child’s day will be filled with a variety of age-appropriate and fun-filled themed activities, such as arts and crafts, stories, recreational games, nature hikes, swimming, field trips, and special guest presentations. For eligible students grades K-5.

World's Largest Swim Lesson (Sign Here)

Campers attending Week 4 must have a waiver filled out by their parent/guardian to participate in the World's Largest Swim Lesson on Thursday, June 26 at Palm Coast Aquatics Center

The form(s) will only need to be filled out once before the start of summer camp/the beginning of the session your child is attending–However, each individual prescription required must have its own form filled out. Teen Adventure Camp
Get ready for the best week of your life! Campers will embark on 5 exciting field trip adventures. Say goodbye to summer boredom and hello to adventure! The full line-up of trips for each session will be updated soon! Teen Adventure Camp is for students who have completed grades 6-8.

Firefighter Kids Camp

Weekdays from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the Southern Recreation Center

  • Session I (Ages 7-9) | Monday, June 2—Friday, June 6
  • Session II (Ages 10-12) | Monday, June 9—Friday,  June 13

Calling all junior firefighters, get ready for some four-alarm fun! Your child will become one of the crew at Fire Station 25 where they will get to use real fire equipment. They will learn firefighting techniques, the concept of CPR and first aid, home and fire safety, and how to use a fire extinguisher.

Pickleball Camp

Weekdays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Southern Recreation Center

  • Session I (Ages 8-17) | Monday, June 16—June 17
  • Session II (Ages 8-17) | Monday, July 21—July 25

Pickleball and so much more! Enjoy fun games, activities, and age-appropriate drills that will teach your child the basics of the game. Players should wear athletic clothing, sneakers, a hat/visor, bring a refillable water bottle, lunch, and snacks. Registration required.

Soccer Camp

Weekdays from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Belle Terre Park
(Palm Coast Aquatics Center)

  • Session I (Ages 8-11) | Monday, June 9—Friday, June 13
  • Session II (Ages 8-11) | Monday, July 7—Friday, July 11

Don’t get a yellow card in fun this summer, sign up for our soccer camp! Campers will increase their soccer skills while reinforcing the fundamentals. All skill levels are welcome. Camp will begin each day at Pavilion 3.

Tennis Camp

Weekdays from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Southern Recreation Center

  • Session I – Junior Academy (Ages 11-14) | Monday, June 9—Friday, June 13
  • Session II  Red and Orange (Ages 6-10) | Monday, June 23—Friday, June 27
  • Session III – Red and Orange (Ages 6-10) | Monday, July 7—Friday, July 11
  • Session IV – Junior Academy (Ages 11-14) | Monday, July 28—Friday, August 1

Robotics Camp

Weekdays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Buddy Taylor Middle School

  • Session I – 3rd-5th Grade Students | Monday, June 16—Friday, June 20
  • Session II  3rd-5th Grade Students | Monday, July 21—Friday, July 25

Campers will spend their days learning how to code and compete amongst themselves to accomplish challenges with their robots! Plus, they’ll get to spend time in the pool and play some field games too. Robotics Camp is for students who have completed grades 3-5.

Youth Golf Clinics

Mondays-Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Palm Harbor Golf Club

  • Session I (Ages 6-13) | Monday, June 9—Thursday, June 12
  • Session II (Ages 6-13) | Monday, June 23—Thursday, June 26
  • Session III (Ages 6-13) | Monday, July 7—Thursday, July 10

Learn the game of golf during these fun-filled days of short game, full swing, putting, golf etiquette, sportsmanship and friendly competition. Our golf camp is open to all skill levels. Taught by LPGA Professional, Class A, Donna Serino. Be sure to bring a refillable water bottle and snacks for each day. Please register a minimum of one week in advance.

How does the waitlist work, and how will I know if there is an opening for my child?

If a spot becomes available, participants on the waitlist will be notified by phone and email will be sent with a time-sensitive link to register (24 Hours).

Is food provided at summer camp?

Meals at Fun in the Sun summer camp are provided by the Flagler County Schools Food Service Department as a part of the Federal Summer Feeding Program. Each child registered for summer camp is eligible for free breakfast and lunch starting the 2nd week of camp. Parents can access detailed nutritional information at https://www.summerbreakspot.org

My child can no longer attend camp, am I eligible for a refund? What is the process and deadline to request?

A refund request must be either physically written or electronically submitted–to fill out a refund request form in-person, please visit the Palm Coast Community Center at 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE. Forms can also be requested and filled out via e-mail if necessary . A refund will only be approved if the request is made at least 7 days before the start of the week your child is registered for.

How can I add an authorized pick-up person to the list?

The holder of the account under which the child is registered for camp can visit the front desk at Palm Coast Community Center or send an email (using the address associated with their CivicRec account) requesting to add an authorized party for summer camp pick-up. As a reminder, all authorized pick-up parties are still required to show a valid government-issued ID at pick up.

How can I apply for a scholarship?

Scholarship applications for Summer 2025 are now CLOSED. Late applications are not being accepted–all recipients have been contacted via phone or email and funds have been allocated. For additional questions regarding an existing application, please call the front desk at (386)-986-2323.
