For over a decade, the Palm Coast Tennis Center has been providing our local community and visiting players with a variety of tennis programs, events, and league play on their 10 har-tru clay courts (all with professional lighting for night play).
From novice to elite players, the Palm Coast Tennis Center offers court times, daily match setting, instructional clinic options, workouts, private and group lessons, hitting sessions, and a robust junior program.
The Palm Coast Tennis Center has played host to numerous Pro Tennis Tournaments, including the Palm Coast Open, Junior USTA tournaments, the Palm Coast & Flagler Beaches Senior Games, and other local league play.

Court Reservations
Court reservations may be made:
- 7 days in advance by PCTC Pass Holders
- 3 days in advance by non-pass holders
To make a court reservation, visit our online booking system or call the Palm Coast Tennis Center during business hours. To book a court online, you must have a CivicRec account.
Adult Programs
Come join a fun and dynamic community of tennis players at the Palm Coast Tennis Center! Our instructors offer weekly development classes that offer a variety of opportunities to play, including Doubles Skills, Single and Double Round Robins, and Morning Blast.
Youth Programs
Our tennis instructors are dedicated to educating and developing the next generation of tennis players. PCTC offers programs for beginner players all the way up to young athletes entering the competitive stage of their careers. Our Rallies programs are tailored to age groups and offer a progressive learning method. More advanced players will benefit from programs like High Performance, where lessons are tailored to skill level.

Meet our dedicated tennis pros! Our instructors are certified professionals, many with over 30 years of playing experience. They teach our classes and offer group and private lessons.
Elliot James
Elliot is from New York and has been playing tennis for over 50 years. After retiring in 2011, he moved to Palm Coast and has been teaching at the Tennis Center since 2021. Previously working with organizations such as the International Tennis Performance Association and the Titleist Performance Institute, his approach to instruction involves a strong focus on the biomechanics of tennis. Elliot is a member of the USPTA and is a PTR-certified tennis teaching professional.
What do you like about working at PCTC?
Working with beginning players to help improve their skills is always a pleasure–It’s an excellent facility, and the Southern Recreation Center will be a great addition.
Joe Nicholson
Joe has been a tennis player and instructor for over 30 years. He moved to Florida in 1989 from North Carolina, where he earned his degree in business administration from Wake Forest University. He went on to develop his tennis skills in West Palm Beach while working alongside several world-class players before becoming a part of the Palm Coast Tennis Center staff in 2021. Joe is a PTR-certified tennis teaching professional and a PPR-certified pickleball instructor.
What do you like about working at PCTC?
Teaching at the Palm Coast Tennis Center allows instructors to work with the community and help give back to its citizens.
Jorika Steyn
Jorika is from South Africa and has a background in elementary education. Prior to coming to Palm Coast, she worked as a tennis pro in New Jersey. Jorika served as a ten-and-under tennis coordinator in Flanders, New Jersey, for one of the largest private tennis companies in the country. Jorika is a PTR-certified tennis teaching professional.
What do you like about working at PCTC?
Palm Coast Tennis Center attracts a wonderful group of diverse families that are a genuine pleasure to work with.
Laura Dwojeski
Laura has been playing tennis for over 30 years and became an instructor in 2018. She moved to Palm Coast from Chester, New Jersey, before joining the Tennis Center in 2021. During her first year, she supervised the Jr. Round Robins and the Men’s Professional Tournament in February. Laura has run all levels of Junior tournaments for the USTA for the last 15 years, including 2 National Championship level events at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, FL.
What do you like about working at PCTC?
Working with the younger players is fun. It can be rewarding to see when everything clicks, and they develop their tennis skills.
Ralph Tozzi
Ralph previously coached tennis part-time in Woodstock, Georgia, before coming to Palm Coast in 2020. He has been playing for over 50 years and has competed in tournaments across the East Coast while holding positions as a college instructor. His strength is working with a diverse range of tennis players from all levels with varying skill sets. Ralph is a PTR-certified tennis teaching professional.
What do you like about working at PCTC?
Watching the players improve their skills with the guidance of an instructor and seeing the passion they have for the game.
Sky Buck
Sky joined the Parks & Recreation Department in 2018 as a recreation leader and is currently a part-time instructor with the Tennis Center. She is originally from California and has been playing tennis since the age of 11. Her bachelor’s degree is in Child Psychology, with a minor in Professional Education. Sky is working towards earning her PTR certification for tennis instruction.
What do you like about working at PCTC?
The amazing staff, players, and passholders. Without them, the facility wouldn’t be what it is today.
Vanessa Nikolov
Vanessa was born and raised in South Florida and began playing tennis at just 6 years old. Prior to instructing in Palm Coast, she was coaching at the Deerfield Beach Tennis Center in Broward County. She has competed at all junior USTA-level tournaments. Vanessa is a PTR-certified tennis teaching professional and a PPR-certified pickleball instructor.
What do you like about working at PCTC?
The facility feels like home. The staff, members, and guests are awesome, and with the Southern Recreation Center expansion, it will be one of a kind.
Palm Coast Open
The Palm Coast Tennis Center is home to the Palm Coast Open: A USTA Pro Circuit Event. The tournament is an M15 Men's Tournament, meaning that male players from across the world can compete for a total of $15,000 in prize money. Stay tuned for dates for the 2024 Palm Coast Open.
