Temporary Road Closure at Parkview Drive

City of Palm Coast Announces Temporary Road Closure on Parkview Drive

Wednesday, March 11, 2026

The City of Palm Coast will close a portion of the northside of Parkview Drive at the intersection of Belle Terre Parkway from Monday, March 23, 2026, to Friday March 27, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

The City of Palm Coast will close a portion of the northside of Parkview Drive at the intersection of Belle Terre Parkway from Monday, March 23, 2026, to Friday March 27, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

Crews will be on-site to overhaul the stormwater system in the area. The team will remove and replace catch basins, install new pipes, improve swale drainage and repair the sidewalk.

This closure will block all lanes on the north side of Parkview Drive near Belle Terre Parkway. During this time, traffic will be detoured to the south entrance of Parkview Drive adjacent to Wadsworth Elementary. Signs will be posted to guide drivers and pedestrians safely around the closure.

Drivers entering and exiting Putter Drive are advised to plan for additional travel time as construction crews will be moving large metal plates across the work zone to maintain safe passage for vehicles. The City of Palm Coast recommends allowing up to 30 minutes of extra travel time while this activity is underway. During the closure, the Palm Coast Fire Department will stage an emergency vehicle on Putter Drive to ensure rapid response if needed.

A temporary pedestrian path will be established along Belle Terre Parkway to accommodate foot traffic while the existing sidewalk is closed. Clear signage will be posted to guide pedestrians safely around the construction area.

Residents are encouraged to use alternate routes to minimize delays and help maintain a safe environment for workers and the community.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to enhance the city’s infrastructure.
