One of the hottest trends in education is STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. And one of the greatest things about summer is fun! It all comes together at Flint STEM Camps.
Unlike some other STEM camps that feature popsicle sticks and egg drops, Flint campers get hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. This week-long, half-day camp lets kids fly drones, experience virtual reality, use 3-D printing pens, try app and web development, program remote control cars and more.
Best of all, students are exposed to these activities in a way that makes education fun, sparking interest in STEM at an important time in their educational development. Awareness of STEM is at an all-time high, and for good reason. People who work in STEM-related fields earn 26% more than their non-STEM counterparts, and STEM professions have an almost 50% lower unemployment rate than non-STEM professionals.
Flint Education offers premier STEM camps throughout the U.S. for 5th to 8th grade students. Flint camps are run by local teachers in each city. Flint wants to honor the passionate teachers who spark inspiration in their students. This respect for the time and talent of educators who want the very best for their students feeds into all aspects of Flint STEM camps. For more information, please visit FlintSTEMcamps.com.
