Event Information
The Florida Agricultural Museum will present the 8th annual "Pellicer Creek Raid Civil War Reenactment" on Saturday and Sunday, October 14th and 15th, from 10 am until 4 pm. The program will involve a number of living history groups from around the southeastern United States. Approximately 150 infantry, artillery, and cavalry troops will stage two battles. Battles will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm. When the participants are not on the battlefield, their historic camps will be open to the public from 10 am until 4 pm, to illustrate other aspects of military life in Florida circa 1864.
Friday, October 13th, has been set aside for school groups by reservation from 10 am until 3 pm. Students will visit with the re-enactors for demonstrations of military camp life and weapons demonstrations. School group admission is $3 per person.
