The City of Palm Coast will have lane closures on Colbert Lane near Waterfront Park Road from Monday, May 11, 2026, through Friday, May 29, 2026.

The intermittent lane closures will occur as Cline Construction, a contractor hired by the City of Palm Coast, moves materials and equipment to the west side of Colbert Lane for the second phase of the project.

During this time, traffic will be directed by flaggers to safely manage these temporary lane closures.

The City of Palm Coast is advancing work on the Colbert West Addition Project, a major component of the Old B-Section Stormwater Conveyance Improvements. The project replaces aging and undersized drainage pipes with modern, higher-capacity conveyance system that directs stormwater toward Graham Swamp.

These upgrades are designed to improve the management of heavy rainfall, reduce localized flooding, and strengthen the long-term performance of the City’s stormwater network. Once complete, the improved system will provide more reliable drainage and increased protection. For a detailed timeline of the project visit Palm Coast Progress: https://www.palmcoast.gov/pcprogress/roadway-projects/colbert-west-addition

Residents are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible to minimize delays and help maintain a safe environment for workers and the community.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to enhance the city’s infrastructure.
