2026 Hall of Terror Draws Thousands to Fire Station 21 for Festive Frights

The Palm Coast Fire Dept. and the City of Palm Coast hosted their annual Hall of Terror this past Friday and Saturday, October 30 and 31, which drew nearly four thousand attendees to Fire Station 21 over the two-day span. Attendees were transported back in time for this year’s event, which featured some of the classic original Universal Monsters, including Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy, the Wolfman, the Bride of Frankenstein, and more.

Founded by former Palm Coast Fire Chief Jerry Forte in 2001, this year’s event marked its 25^th outing since its inception in 2001, and the 13^th and final year for current Event Director (Boo Master) Palm Coast Fire Dept. Lt. Dan Driscoll. After many years, and many different themes that have ranged from classic horror like Friday the 13^th and Halloween, to more contemporary classics like Stranger Things, Driscoll will now pass the baton to a group of fellow firefighters and volunteers to carry on the legacy of this Palm Coast tradition.

“This has been an exciting run for this event, and it’s been an honor to put on this show the last 13 years”, Driscoll said. “Each year has been special in its own way, and I think the best is yet to come with Hall of Terror in the future.”

The Hall of Terror event will return next year on October 30-31, 2027. Volunteers that wish to take part in the event or any other city events throughout the year, can fill out the event volunteer form at https://form.typeform.com/to/nYQ1K8TT?typeform-source=www.palmcoast.gov
