City of Palm Coast Announces Temporary Road Closure on Rolling Sands Dr.

The City of Palm Coast will close part of Rolling Sands Drive near 118 Rolling Sands Drive from Monday, September 21, through Friday, September 25. Crews will repair and replace underground stormwater pipes in the area.

The City of Palm Coast will close part of Rolling Sands Drive near 118 Rolling Sands Drive from Monday, September 21, through Friday, September 25. Crews will repair and replace underground stormwater pipes in the area.

The road will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Thursday and Friday. On Tuesday and Wednesday, it will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with possible overnight closures.

Residents in the affected area will still be able to reach their homes.

Drivers traveling northwest on Rolling Sands Drive will be detoured using Rymfire Drive and Ruth Drive. Drivers traveling in the opposite direction will be detoured using Ravenwood Drive. Signs will be posted to guide drivers around the work area.

Traffic signs will also be placed near Rolling Sands Drive and Royal Oak Drive to let drivers know the road is closed ahead and that no through traffic will be allowed.

Drivers should use caution and allow extra travel time. The City appreciates residents’ patience while this important work is completed.
