The City of Palm Coast invites residents to attend its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at Heroes Memorial Park.

This annual ceremony honors the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. It serves as a time for the community to pause, reflect, and recognize the true meaning of Memorial Day beyond the holiday.

The program will include thoughtful presentations and remarks that reflect on the meaning of Memorial Day and the lasting gratitude we owe to our fallen service members. A ceremonial wreath presentation will also take place, representing the community’s shared respect and remembrance.

New this year, the ceremony will include a “Community Recognition of the Fallen.” Attendees will be invited to step forward and share the names and service of their loved ones, ensuring their sacrifices are honored and remembered.

Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to take part in the Honor Walk, a quiet procession around the park. Guests are encouraged to pause at each monument, observe a moment of silence or prayer, and leave a flower in tribute. This reflective walk offers a personal opportunity to connect with the significance of the day in a meaningful and lasting way.

Residents are invited to come together in remembrance, reflect on the cost of freedom, and honor those who gave everything in service to our country.
