This key executive position will work alongside the City Manager and leadership team to oversee daily operations, advance strategic priorities, and help shape the future of a city known for its exceptional quality of life, innovation, and strong sense of community.

The Deputy City Manager will play a critical role in aligning citywide initiatives, supporting departmental operations, and implementing strategic projects that improve efficiency and service delivery. Responsibilities include overseeing internal operations, supporting budget and policy development, collaborating with City Council and community stakeholders, and ensuring organizational goals are successfully executed.
Palm Coast offers a unique blend of coastal charm and modern amenities, with more than 115,000 residents enjoying over 130 miles of trails, beautiful parks, and access to the Intracoastal Waterway and nearby Atlantic beaches. The ideal candidate is a strategic, innovative leader with a passion for public service, strong organizational and communication skills, and a proven ability to lead complex operations. Candidates should have at least seven years of executive-level experience and a background in public administration or a related field.
