This month’s beneficiary will be a longtime community partner, Fun Coast Down Syndrome Association.
Founded by Palm Coast resident Paula Wilburn in 2002, the Fun Coast Down Syndrome Association has been advocating for individuals in Flagler, Volusia, Putnam and St. Johns County through unique programming and events that are designed to connect the Down Syndrome Community in an engaging, welcoming environment for them and their loved ones. Proceeds raised from this month’s Food Truck Tuesday will directly benefit the group’s 20th Annual Buddy Walk, their largest annual fundraising event, which will be held in Town Center on November 1. The organization is hoping to raise funds this year to purchase a 15-passenger van to help with transportation to and from events for participants.
