Fourth Annual Flagler Veterans Day Parade Returns Nov. 11 as Official VA Regional Site; Community Invited to Help Honor Veterans

The Cities of Bunnell, Palm Coast, and Flagler Beach, in partnership with Flagler County Government, Flagler Schools, and numerous community organizations, invite the public to participate in the Fourth Annual Flagler County Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.

For the second consecutive year, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs National Veterans Day Committee has designated Bunnell, Florida, as an official Regional Site for Veterans Day observances, recognizing the community's commitment to honoring America's veterans.

The annual parade, spearheaded by Bunnell Police Chief David Brannon, has grown into one of Flagler County's premier patriotic celebrations, bringing together veterans, local governments, first responders, schools, civic organizations, businesses and residents to recognize the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

This year's celebration carries added significance as the nation commemorates America's 250th Anniversary. To honor this historic milestone, organizers have established a goal of having 250 veterans participate in the parade, representing the generations of Americans who have defended our nation since its founding.

"America's 250th anniversary gives us a unique opportunity to celebrate not only our nation's history, but the men and women whose service helped preserve it," said Bunnell Police Chief David Brannon, chair of the Flagler County Veterans Day Parade. “For 250 years, generations of Americans have answered the call to serve our country. This Veterans Day, we hope our community will help us recognize that legacy by joining us in honoring all veterans whose courage, sacrifice and commitment continue to inspire us.”

The Flagler County Veterans Day Parade remains focused on those who served. Every registered parade entry is required to include at least one United States military veteran who will physically participate in the parade, ensuring veterans remain at the heart of the community's celebration.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. in downtown Bunnell and travel east along Moody Boulevard, concluding at the Government Services Building, where the annual Flagler County Veterans Day Ceremony will begin at approximately 11 a.m. The ceremony will be followed by a complimentary lunch for all veterans.

Residents are encouraged to line the parade route to cheer on participating veterans and show their appreciation for those who have served our country.

The success of the annual event is made possible through the collaboration of partners throughout the community. The Flagler County Sheriff's Office and Flagler County Fire Rescue will assist with traffic control and public safety throughout the event.
