Palm Coast Fire Department to Mark 25th Anniversary of 9/11 at Annual Candlelight Memorial Service

The Palm Coast Fire Department invites the community to join in remembrance at the September 11th Candlelight Memorial Service. The event will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at Heroes Memorial Park (2860 Park Coast Parkway NW). Overflow parking will be available on Corporate Drive.

This annual gathering honors the lives lost during the September 11th terrorist attacks and pays tribute to the bravery of first responders and service members. The evening ceremony will feature a candlelight observance, symbolic traditions, and remarks reflecting on the enduring impact of that day.

The event is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend. Seating is limited, so early arrival is recommended. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, and the event will be held at Fire Station 21, located at 9 Corporate Drive.
