At the May 20, 2026, City Council Business Meeting, the Palm Coast City Council approved a Facility Use Agreement with Palm Coast Baseball LLC, allowing Baseball Field #2 at the Indian Trails Sports Complex to host collegiate baseball games as part of the newly established Orange State League.

The agreement brings a new form of affordable, family-friendly entertainment to Palm Coast while activating one of the City’s premier athletic facilities throughout the summer season. Under the agreement, Palm Coast Baseball LLC will manage league operations, ticketing, sponsorships, staffing, insurance requirements, and field maintenance responsibilities during permitted use at the complex.

“This agreement is an exciting opportunity for Palm Coast residents and for the continued growth of athletics in our community,” said James Hirst. “I’d like to thank the Palm Coast City Council for supporting this partnership and helping bring collegiate summer baseball to the Indian Trails Sports Complex. This creates another way for residents and families to come together, enjoy affordable entertainment, and experience high-level baseball right here in Palm Coast.”

The Palm Coast Big Buoys, the City’s new collegiate summer wooden bat baseball team, will compete in the Orange State League alongside other collegiate-level teams from across Florida. The league is designed to provide college athletes with opportunities to continue developing their skills in a competitive summer environment using wooden bats, like professional baseball.

The team will feature collegiate players from around the country and aims to provide an engaging game-day atmosphere for residents, complete with family-friendly experiences and community partnerships throughout the summer.

The Palm Coast Big Buoys first home game at the Indian Trails Sports Complex, located at 5455 Belle Terre Parkway, will be “Faith and Family Night: Gnarlies vs. Big Buoys” on June 17, 2026, from 7 to 10 p.m., with tickets ranging from $5.72 to $11.63. Residents can learn more about the team, view the team schedule, and purchase tickets by visiting the Palm Coast Big Buoys official website.
