Registration is now open for the 2026 Pink Army 5K and 1-Mile Pet-Friendly Fun Walk, taking place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at AdventHealth Palm Coast. Hosted by the City of Palm Coast in partnership with AdventHealth Palm Coast, the annual event raises funds for breast cancer awareness, education, and screening, with 100 percent of proceeds remaining in Flagler County to support local residents through early detection and diagnostic services.
“There’s something powerful and inspiring about seeing a sea of pink winding through our streets,” said John Subers, Executive Director of AdventHealth Palm Coast Health Foundation. “It sends a message louder than words. Breast Cancer touches all of us and that our community cares.”
The event welcomes runners, walkers, families, and pets of all ages and abilities. Participants can choose between the professionally timed 5K race or the non-timed 1-mile pet-friendly fun walk.
“Bringing the community together is always special, but contributing in a way that helps spread awareness of this disease makes it even more meaningful,” said James Hirst, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Palm Coast. “From individuals diagnosed with breast cancer to the friends and family who support them, we want them to know they are not alone. The City of Palm Coast stands with them.”
Race day activities begin at 6:30 a.m. with registration and packet pickup. The 5K race will start at 7:45 a.m., followed by the 1-mile fun walk at 8:00 a.m. Awards will be presented at 9:00 a.m. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as the top three finishers in multiple age divisions.
Students ages 18 and under can participate in the 5K for $20 using the code KIDS, courtesy of the Flagler Education Foundation. Registration for the 5k run and 1-mile pet-friendly fun walk is $40. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Participants are encouraged to form corporate, family, or community teams. Teams demonstrating exceptional participation and enthusiasm will be recognized during the awards ceremony. The deadline to register a team is Friday, October 2, 2026.
Packet pickup will be available at the Palm Coast Community Center, located at 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE, from September 30 through October 3, as well as on race morning beginning at 6:30 a.m. at AdventHealth Palm Coast.
