Waterfront Park Phase 2

Waterfront Park Phase 2

The City of Palm Coast is moving forward with Waterfront Park Phase 2, a project that will improve access and connectivity for park visitors by adding new parking and pedestrian connections. Phase 2 will include construction of an additional parking lot, a connection to Waterfront Park Road, and a sidewalk connection that ties into the City’s existing sidewalk network.

Waterfront Park Phase 2 is designed to make visiting the park easier and safer while supporting the growing popularity of kayaking and boating access in the area. Design for this phase was completed in 2022, and the project now includes construction of a new parking lot with spaces for towed trailers for boats and kayaks. Additional improvements will create better roadway access and expand pedestrian connectivity between the park and surrounding sidewalk infrastructure.

December 2025

The Site Development Permit has been issued and a preconstruction meeting was scheduled for December 3. Later in the month, the contractor mobilized on site, silt fencing was installed, and site clearing began. The City Arborist visited the site and identified trees that may be saved, including some that were originally shown for removal in the project documents.
