Pine Grove Canal Dredging
Work is now underway on the Pine Grove Canal Dredging Project in the R Section. This project will provide essential maintenance of the Pine Grove Canal area West of Palm Coast Parkway and help to return the canal to its original depth, improving the operation of our stormwater system.

August 2026
Progress continues at on the Pine Grove Canal Dredging project, with crews recently working to complete dredging and final grading from Rae Dr to Ravenwood Dr, as well as sod installation in this area. Dredging activities are now ongoing on the upstream side of the canal.
July 2026
Following the completion of the revised plan review process necessitated by site conditions on the Pine Grove Canal Dredging Project, the contractor has successfully remobilized and resumed construction activities.
Current mobilization efforts at the project site in the R-Section include deploying a long-reach excavator, pump equipment setup, dewatering operations, re-establishing survey control, and implementing Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) measures. Dredging activities are now actively underway and this project is projected to be completed in December.
January 2026
The design engineer is modifying the original plans due to field conditions, with the revised plans expected by mid-February for City and contractor review to resume construction.
