Utility work on Florida Park Drive required installation of a sewer force main, followed by temporary patching to maintain drivability. As part of the planned restoration phase, the City will complete full milling and resurfacing within the impacted travel lane to ensure a durable roadway surface. A maintenance-of-traffic (M.O.T.) plan and on-site flagging will be used to support traffic flow and safety during construction.

February 2025

The City of Palm Coast will resurface a section of Florida Park Drive on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, to restore the roadway following installation of a sewer force main. Work will take place in the southbound travel lane from Forest Hill Drive to Palm Harbor Parkway.

After the force main installation, an initial patch repair was completed to keep the roadway drivable. A full milling and resurfacing was always planned and will now be completed to provide a long-term repair. P&S Paving will perform the work, which will require a full lane closure in the work zone. A maintenance-of-traffic (M.O.T.) plan will be in place with flagging operations to guide vehicles safely through the area.

Work is expected to be completed the same day, weather permitting. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, follow posted signage, and allow extra travel time while crews are on-site.
