Employment
This position will join the Stormwater Maintenance division as a member of a swale, ditch, canal, or pipe maintenance crew. Depending on level of experience, candidates may be hired as MW, E0I or E0II. All positions perform work related duties to include the installation, maintenance, and repair of the city stormwater system. Applicants must have the ability to perform labor-intensive work within difficult environmental conditions to include frequent lifting, pulling, and pushing of 50 lbs. All positions require a High School Diploma or GED and must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.
Maintenance Worker - Must possess a minimum of (2) years' experience in grounds keeping and/or general maintenance.
Equipment Operator I - Must possess a minimum of (2) years' experience in grounds keeping and/or general maintenance and operates light to heavy equipment. Must possess a Class "B" CDL license.
Equipment Operator II - Must possess (3) years of light and heavy equipment operating experience including but not limited to operation of backhoe, front end loader, excavator, skid steer, gradall, etc. Must possess a Class "A" CDL license.
