Fire Station 26

The City of Palm Coast is designing and constructing Fire Station 26 to support the growing needs of the city’s southern area. The new, approximately 10,000-square-foot facility will be located at the northwest corner of Seminole Woods Boulevard and Airport Commerce Center Way (Ulaturn Trail South), strengthening emergency response coverage for the Seminole Woods community and surrounding neighborhoods.

Fire Station 26
Fire Station 26 is a new public safety facility that will expand Palm Coast Fire Department’s ability to respond quickly as the community continues to grow. The station’s layout is designed to support modern fire-rescue operations, with a defined apparatus bay, office quarters, and living space for on-duty crews. This project improves service capacity in southern Palm Coast and helps ensure reliable response times for residents and businesses. The project is currently on track for completion in Q2 2026.


December 2025

Progress continues on Fire Station 26 in the Seminole Woods neighborhood. During December, crews focused on key building systems and exterior work, including installation of the A/C unit, power generator system, and exterior paneling. The project remains on schedule and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.

 

 


August 2025

Construction continued to move forward at Fire Station 26 as the building’s interior and apparatus bay took clear shape over the last several weeks. With major structural elements established, work is transitioning into the next phases that prepare the station for interior buildout and operational systems.

  

  

 


June 2025

Strong progress was made throughout June as installation of the concrete masonry walls advanced significantly, defining the main structure of the facility. With the walls in place, the apparatus bay, office quarters, and living area are now clearly outlined, with the overall footprint similar to Fire Station 21. Crews also began the rough-in work for electrical and plumbing systems. On site, an important milestone was reached with completion of the stormwater system, while general grading work continues.

May 2025

Construction efforts continued to build momentum in May. Preparatory work at the site has been completed, and crews began installing underground utilities and stormwater services to support the station’s construction and long-term operations.

    

   


April 2025

Site preparation remained underway in April, including development of the building pad and placement of a fill base to support the foundation and upcoming structural work.

March 2025

Early work began in March with land clearing and site development, marking the start of physical progress toward the future Fire Station 26 facility.

   


October 2024

A groundbreaking was held at the site of what will be Fire Station 26, featuring local officials, members of the PCFD and the community - the first step towards significant progress in public safety with the addition of this new firehouse.
