What are the yard waste requirements for pickup?

Question

What are the yard waste requirements for pickup?

Answer

Yard Waste is picked up on Wednesdays. Items must be less than 6 inches in diameter and no longer than 5 feet, with the total pile not exceeding 2 cubic yards. If the amount of Yard Waste is over these limits you will receive a tag to pay the hauler directly to have it picked up. Per City Ordinance, any waste generated by a contractor (this includes a lawn service, tree trimmer, yardman, tree surgeon, etc.) must be removed by the contractor who generated the debris at their own expense.

Bagging yard debris does make it easier for FCC to remove items.

Please remember if you hire a local landscaper or lawn service company, they are responsible for debris removal if the amount of yard waste exceeds the allowable amount for a regular weekly pickup.
