First Time Homebuyer Program

The City of Palm Coast offers a First-Time Homebuyer Program to help eligible residents achieve homeownership. This program may provide up to $35,000 in financial assistance to help with eligible home purchase costs, making it easier for first-time buyers to move into a safe and affordable home.

Program requirements

  • Be a first-time homebuyer
  • Meet program HUD income limits
  • Submit a pre-screening form to Mid-Florida Housing Partnership
  • Complete a free First-Time Homebuyer education course
  • Complete a Credit & Credit Scoring workshop
  • Complete a Mortgage Readiness workshop
  • Take all courses through a HUD-certified Housing Counseling Agency and obtain certificates of completion — Mid-Florida Housing Partnership offers these free of charge
