First-Time Homebuyer Program
The City of Palm Coast’s First-Time Homebuyer Program helps eligible residents take the first step toward owning a home by offering financial assistance and education resources to support long-term success.
Through this program, qualifying first-time buyers may receive up to $35,000 in financial assistance to help offset eligible home purchase costs. Income limits apply, and all applicants are required to complete free homebuyer education courses provided by a HUD-certified Housing Counseling Agency. These courses include a First-Time Homebuyer class and a Credit and Credit Scoring workshop, both designed to prepare participants for responsible homeownership. After completing the courses and receiving a certificate, applicants must submit a pre-screening form through the Mid-Florida Housing Partnership to begin the eligibility review process.
