Home Inspection Program
We are here to help keep you and your family safe. Any resident within the City of Palm Coast may call the Fire department to request and schedule a FREE courtesy home safety inspection. By no means does this release the resident from the overall responsibility of home safety. This is only a way to inform and educate our residents of safer habits to practice in the home.

This inspection includes any/all of the following

Assistance in developing and practicing a home escape plan.

Checking and/or installing additional smoke alarms and changing batteries.

Identifying trip and fall hazards.

Proper storage of residential hazardous chemicals and substances.

Check for electrical hazards that may cause fire or injury.

Suggestions on securing home from hazardous situations for children.
